Built in 1790, this elegant Georgian House has 10 bed rooms on the first and the second floor. From the entrance hall, on the left there is a large drawing room with big windows, and on the right, there are a morning room opens to the back of the house and a sitting room facing the front. The ground floor of the house is available for meetings and functions for the members
The walled kitchen garden with a Victorian greenhouse rebuilt exactly how it was. Japanese water garden designed by Robert Ketchell, established borders, orchards, inherited huge trees and pasture land. A Shrine in the Japanese Garden dedicated to the sake god is now complete.
The gardens are open to the annual garden members and Dojima Members only. We have seasonal public garden open days and they are advertised on event/garden pages .
The first of its kind in the UK, a Japanese Sake Brewery and a visitor Centre. We have been brewing at Fordham Abbey since Spring 2018. Please check the dates for brewery tours for 2023
